We are happy to announce that we have re-opened our facilities for rentals and bookings! As COVID-19 is still very much with us, the centre will be taking all of the necessary precautions to protect our guests as stated by Alberta Health Services. We encourage that everyone take the steps to protect yourself and others from COVID-19 by practicing good hygiene, social distancing and monitoring for symptoms. Our neighbouring Santa Maria Goretti Church has already opened their doors and is following guidelines issued by the Roman Catholic Bishops of Alberta for a gradual return to public mass. To keep up to date with all of the ongoing changes, please refer to the Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton website.
As Santa Maria Goretti Centre does our part to get back to a “new normal”, we have brought back our Sunday Pranzo. As we move into the fall, there will be some weeks that we have to cancel this special meal or upcoming events due to low attendance numbers or if our staff show signs of the flu. We have a small crew on hand and we want to take care of our employees and the community, so doing the right thing may not be ideal for everyone. For that, we apologize.
We would like to encourage all guests to wear a mask when they are in our facility to help protect everyone who walks through our doors.
